I am glad that I spent many years investigating a variety of tools (e.g., Plectica, Thortspace, Prezi, Wakelet, Canva). As I have become fluent in these tools, I can quickly assess which tool is right for me for a particular situation.
Over the last two weeks I have been experimenting with the Growing Systems of Success journal. Yesterday, I decided to implement my Managing Moments journal in Prezi for the following reasons:
1. It takes time to set up but I can easily replicate and modify each week.
2. The design captures the key elements of the GSS model. As we are navigating the prezi, the overview diagram shows how each components fits in the overall model.
3. Prezi can be used to narrate project stories. Each project has taken shape through events that have happened recently and many years ago. They are influenced by many people.
4. I can use text, images, and videos to document projects and to share stories in prezi.
Another ket advantage is that design of the prezi is similar to the design of the Managing Moments notebook. Thus, users can use the manual or prezi version in a consistent way.

Since different users prefer different tools, I will continue to present the journal in different formats. However, I intend to use the prezi for my journal. Looking back, I am glad I invested time in learning different tools. I can use different tools as needed. I can also integrate different tools to organize and present information.
